Server Settings

The Server Settings module provides an interface to view and manipulate the configuration settings for all ColdBricks sites running on the same server. Server settings determine things like default account to display, caching settings, base resources, templates used to render pages, resource types, among other things.

Even though each site created in ColdBricks has their own settings and configuration, the process by which the configuration of a site is defined is a two-step process. First, the settings for the entire server are read, and then the configuration for the particular site is processed. The consequence of this is that any configuration setting that is not overridden at site level will default to whatever value is defined at server level. This screen allows administrators to define these server-level values.
