Resource Management

Resources in ColdBricks are collections of reusable elements and properties that can be used in different ways throughout the site. Resources are organized in 'Resource Libraries'. Any site can use resources from any number of resource libraries as long as they are declared on the site configuration. 

All operations with resources are done through the Resources Management module. You can access this module from the Site Dashboard, just click on the Resources icon, or click on each resource type on the Resources Summary panel.

HomePortals provides different types of resources, each one used on a different manner. Some resources are actual visible components of a page, like  content entries, and others have more of a supporting role, like the skins.

Resource Types are user-defined, however there are a few types that are already defined by default:

	Content	Content entries
	Feeds	An rss/atom feed
	Skins	Reusable stylesheets
	Images	Image resources
