Site Settings

The Site Settings module allows you to modify the configuration of the current site. This section is accessed by clicking on the Settings icon on the Site Dashboard.

As mentioned on Server Settings section, all sites created in ColdBricks follow a two-step process in order to determine its own configuration. First, it loads the base configuration files for the general server configuration, and then loads and reads its own site configuration. This way, the site’s configuration can overwrite any setting defined at the base level.

The Site Settings module or section is very similar to the Server Settings screens, except that you can select which settings to override and which ones to leave as the default values.

To override a setting, just mark the checkbox next to each setting and enter the new value. You can override all settings except for the Application Root. This must always be pointing to the directory or path where the site is located.

IMPORTANT: Always be careful when modifying the settings as they can severely affect how the site behaves and incorrect or invalid values can stop the site from working at all.
